Overview
This settlement arose from allegations that the largest distributors of dental supplies and equipment in the U.S. had agreed that they would not compete on price for the sale of dental products. Plaintiffs claim that this alleged manipulation of the market and pricing of dental products resulted in dental practitioners, practices, clinics, and labs being overcharged for dental products.
Eligibility
Eligible Class Members include dental practitioners, practices, clinics, and labs that purchased dental supplies from Henry Schein, Patterson, Benco, Burkhart Dental Supply Company or any combination thereof from August 31, 2008, until March 31, 2016. The lawsuit claims that these companies account for approximately 90% of all sales of dental products in the U.S.
Dental supplies means consumable dental products used by dentists and dental laboratories, sometimes referred to as sundries or merchandise, and include items such as gloves, hand instruments, face masks, toothbrushes, anesthetic solutions, and the like.
Documentation is Not Required
In order to have a claim submitted on your behalf to this Dental Supplies settlement, you simply need to supply readily available information for your business, such as business name(s) and address(es) when you enroll in MCAG's service. We will work with the Settlement Administrator to ensure that a proper, valid, and timely claim is submitted on your behalf.
