As is the case with many settlements, the 2010 UHC Ingenix Settlement offered a ‘simplified’ filing option where a claimant could utilize estimates from data supplied by the Defendant, as well as an opportunity to submit supplemental data in an effort to improve their claim submission. MCAG’s program increased settlement returns for our clients by more than 40% compared to the ‘simplified’ filing. We accomplished this by utilizing data made available via our strategic partnerships across the healthcare industry.
