Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Settlements
Antitrust Litigation involving the price of CRTs.
UPDATE: The Court has granted preliminary approval to the revised CRT Indirect Purchaser Settlement. The Net Settlement fund for claimants remains unchanged. No action is needed from MCAG clients whose claims were filed prior to the December 2015 deadline. Final Approval could occur at the July 8, 2020 hearing, which could allow for distribution yet this year. Submission of additional claims is not permitted.
This group of class action settlements provides funds totaling $547.75 million. The lawsuit claims that the Defendants fixed the prices of CRTs causing consumers to pay more for CRTs and products containing CRTs, such as TVs and computer monitors (collectively "CRT Products").
