ATTENTION ALL FLORIDA PROVIDERS AND FACILITIES
AETNA FLORIDA has agreed to settle claims involving payments made for Emergency Care and Services.
These claims are specific to providers who billed for out-of-network services for AETNA plan members and
received below market payments.
The deadline for this settlement is May 4, 2009.
Providers who wish to participate in this settlement and do not want to have their payments arbitrarily
decided by AETNA must contact a Managed Care Advisory Group customer service representative at
1-800-355-0466 as soon as possible in order to provide the necessary documentation to submit a claim.
